Designer Clothing Brand Lacoste Replaces Their Iconic Crocodile Logo

The little crocodile logo used as Lacoste’s branding has been replaced with endangered animals to spread awareness. This collection is made in collaboration with the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

Lacoste came out with ten new polo shirt designs, each with an embroidered patch of an endangered animal. The number of polos that were produced for each of the animals correlates to the relating population of that particular animal. Purchases of these shirts help the IUCN in their mission and raises awareness for the animals. The polo shirts depict the animals: Burmese Roofed Turtle, Javan Rhino, Northern Sportive Lemur, California Condor, Kakapo, Vaquita, Anegada Ground Iguana, Cao-vit Gibbon, Saola and the Sumatran Tiger. read more
